HORSE RESCUE FUND

Money for the Horse Rescue Fund is solicited by check-off on the membership form as well as by individual contributions.

What the money is used for:
$500 was sent to AHC (American Horse Council) to help provide hay for equine victims of Hurricane Katrina.
We have contributed to the AHC's Responsible Horse Ownership program to help fund info folders.

In 2009 we were able to award three grants to NJ Horse Rescue organizations: ReRun TB rescue, Helping Hearts Equine Rescue and Mylestone Equine Rescue. In 2010 we awarded two grants to NJ Horse Rescue organizations: ReRun TB rescue and Helping Hearts Equine Rescue
